The mess hall serves a central function at Ørland Air Station, Norway’s main fighter aircraft base. Several hundred conscripted soldiers, non-commissioned officers, officers, and civilian staff are served three daily meals here.
Anders Sletvold Moe has realized an extensive artistic project comprising three distinct groups of works, which together form a cohesive artistic whole within the upgraded mess hall.
